(1)- VACATION SPOTS - Where do millionaires and billionaires go on vacation? They have millions and billions of choices, including the crème de la crème of island rentals, world cruises, private jet trips and even space travel.
(2)- TWICE -- Terry Telford was hit by his wife Sandy as she backed their four-wheel drive down their driveway. It appeared that Mrs Telford did not realise what had happened and then drove forward, running over her husband again.
(3)- MOSCOW ON THE CHEAP -- Boasting posh restaurants, luxury boutiques and a flock of millionaires who indulge in them, Moscow is considered one of the most expensive cities on the planet. Moscow also offers plenty that's affordable.
(4)- A VIEW – Self-esteem is a term in the modern lexicon of psychobabble, and psychobabble; the verbal expression of self-absorption without self-examination. The former is a pleasurable vice, the latter a painful discipline.
(5)- BE DEEP TO BE HAPPY – A new study says people who spend more of their day having deep discussions and less time engaging in small talk seem to be happier, Matthias Mehl, a University of Arizona psychologist published the study.
(6)- NEW RUBIK -- Reclusive Hungarian professor Erno Rubik, 64, who has seen his cube achieve 350 million sales since 1980, was heavily involved in creating the new brain-teaser. It involves a clear plastic ball and six small colored balls.
(7)- BACON WROTE THEM -- Herein resides a Summary of claims of Baconian Evidence for
Shakespeare Authorship. Including the assertion the clearest indication of Bacon using another name for his work is in Tobie Matthew's 1623 letter to Bacon.
(8)- WHAT'S MUMBAI MEAN?? -- The name ‘Mumbai' is derived from ‘Mumba' (native goddess) and ‘Aai' (mother in Marathi). This idea is similar to the personified representation of ‘Mother India.' But there is controversy.
(9)- AUDIO CASSETTE TAPE HISTORY -- Do you still have a box of old cassettes somewhere? Do the images here do anything for you? Do you feel any cassette nostalgia? Tape enjoys none of the romance associated with vinyl culture.
