(1)- FICTION WRITING RULES -- Get an accountant, abstain from sex and similes, cut, rewrite, then cut and rewrite again. If all else fails, pray. Inspired by Elmore Leonard's 10 Rules of Writing, authors give their personal dos and don'ts.

(3)- A THOUGHT -- Does Darwinian selection take place at the level only of individuals, or of groups as well? The notion of religion as an “adaptive” phenomenon makes better sense if one accepts the idea of group selection.

(7)- TRASH-TALKING TALIBAN -- It's a remarkable combination of psychological warfare, political roundtable and trash-talking. Afghan soldiers and Taliban fighters taunt each other, debate each other and worse.

(9)- NOT HIS FAULT -- Ever since his 1996 Toyota Camry shot up an interstate ramp, plowing into the back of an Oldsmobile in a horrific crash that killed three people, Koua Fong Lee said he was wrongfully imprisoned.

It is caused by the hormonal problems, weight gain, and many other factors.
