WEB BOHEMIAN (Tuesday, March 30, 2010)
(1)- HISTORY OF FOUR STORIES –This rather interesting and peculiar website tracks the history and evolution of four famous and significant stories: Pygmallion, Faust, Oedipus and Leviathan.

(2)- 40,000 YEAR-OLD TOOLS -- It's "Tasmania's Valley of the Kings." At a proposed freeway overpass site on Australia's island of Tasmania, archaeologists uncover what they say are the earliest southernmost artifacts of human life.

(3)- WHO REALLY WROTE SHAKESPEARE? -- Surely not that 'upstart crow' from Stratford? As James Shapiro's new book rehearses the loony arguments about our greatest playwright, thoughts on the authorship question arise yet again.

(4)- NEWSPAPER WARS -- Seized delivery vans, murderous editors, insanity allegations, tis to the Church of Satan, illegal predatory-pricing schemes, more than $21 million on the line. A crazy alt-weekly war in San Francisco has it all.

(5)- TEEVEE VIDEO WARS -- Viacom Inc. and Google Inc.'s YouTube site air dirty laundry, providing a tantalizing peek at the wheeling and dealing that triggered a bitter battle over the copyright laws governing the Internet.

(6)- PERIODIC TABLE STUFF -- The Periodic Table of Elements claimed its way to fame in classrooms and text books around the world, and now these science fans have taken it to a new level of creativity.

(7)- CHANDELIER -- Here's a first: a full-sized chandelier that was made using 14,000 tampons. Created by Joana Vasconcelos, it's earning the gazes of art lovers in Lisbon.

(8)- OFF WITH THEIR HEADS -- A guillotine is on show at the Paris Orsay Museum for the first time since the deadly contraption was made redundant three decades ago. The device is uniquely designed for separating heads from bodies.

(9)-MY COOKIES, NOT YOURS -- Florida authorities said an 80-year-old man was arrested for attacking his neighbors' door with a garden hoe because he thought they stole his cookies.
