(1)- NEW RECORD -- An Australian street performer has set a new Guinness World Record by swallowing 18 swords at the same time. Chayne Hultgren, aka The Space Cowboy, swallowed the blades, each of which was 72 centimetres long, in Sydney.
(2)- REPAIR REPORT -- An Alaska dentist has given a bald eagle a unique beak—using a temporary crown, sticky poster putty and yellow highlighter. The bird was found in December with severe damage to its beak.
(3)- RETHINKING -- Austrian millionaire Karl Rabeder is giving away every penny of his £3 million fortune after realising his riches were making him unhappy. he plans to leave his luxury Alpine retreat for a small wooden hut in the mountains.
(4)- RAISING A KID -- Something as simple as sitting down to dinner together as a family can go a long way in helping a child fend off obesity. Other behaviors that help kids stay slim include getting adequate sleep and limiting TV time.
(5)- HAVE A CARE -- Herbs and supplements, including St. John’s wort and even garlic and ginger, do not mix well with common heart drugs and can also be dangerous if taking statins, blood thinners and blood pressure medications.
